We are deeply saddened to share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Tyler Hussey.
Tyler was more than a friend and teammate. He was a mentor, teacher, coach, loving husband, and an incredible father. He touched the lives of so many throughout our soccer community and at Liberty High School, and his impact will never be forgotten.
Anyone who shared the field with Tyler, was coached by him, or simply had a conversation with him knew the kind of person he was. Genuine, caring, and always wanting the best for others both on and off the field. He brought joy everywhere he went and had a special way of making every child smile and feel valued.
One thing Tyler lived by and taught all of us was HEART. Never quit. Always fight. Give everything you have for the people around you. That spirit will continue to live on through the countless players, families, and friends he impacted.
He will be deeply missed, always remembered, and forever remain a part of our community.
