Anthem Rotary was back out in the community today!! This time helping support the Children’s Miracle Network supporting Phoenix Children’s hospital at our local Anthem Walmart fundraising Drive. Every Summer Walmart locally raise funds and Anthem Rotary was happy to support them with a check for $1000.

As you see in the picture it’s for the kids. If you stop at Walmart and you can a donation of any amount is appreciated. Thanks Tom Polcher AGM of Walmart for your support.

Anthem Rotarians back at work today serving our community. We shopped at Walmart and bought $1350 worth of much needed food for the St Vincent DePaul food pantry at St Rose Church right here in Anthem. This Rotary year that ends on June 30th our local Club has purchased and delivered over $12,500 worth of groceries to this great food pantry. Servicing the community we live in!! ( note***not in the picture is Local legendary Attorney Jim Carroll who shopped but was unable to deliver)

When the St Vincent DePaul Food Pantry calls and says they are in need of ground beef for the hungry families that they service, Anthem Rotary responded immediately by purchasing and delivering 100 pounds of Ground Beef and 50 packages of hot dogs.

The Pantry is always in need of food donations if you can help support please do so!!!

Rotarians are People of Action and here is another example of that. We will be going back at the end of the week with another large supple of food staples they are in need of!!

A President, Past-President, President-Elect, and Past District Governor standing together honoring those Rotarians that paved the way for us and are now resting in a better place looking down on us and I am sure smiling and proud of the legacy they left behind.

A huge THANK YOU to all our sponsors, players, volunteers, and Rotarians for helping us have what we believe is the most successful golf tournament to date. The weather cooperated, the course was in excellent shape, the Country Club staff delivered on golf and an excellent dinner last night. We could not have done it without all of your support. We had over 120 local businesses support us with either sponsorships or in-kind donations. The monies raised will directly impact our local communities as well as world wide projects!! We are still counting the money and will have our final tally announcement soon.

Anthem turned out in a big way for Anthem Rotary yesterday.
