MTCC will once again be participating in the Thanksgiving Day Meal program sponsored by the Lewis Christian Community Center in Oak Hill. The event will be handled a little differently this year. Rather than calling in to reserve a meal, meals will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. It you would like to reserve 12 or more meals you will still need to call and place a pre-order. Information is provided in the flyer below. As noted meals at MTCC will be available for pick up Thanksgiving Day from 11:30 to 12:30.

The Ansted Heritage Museum will be open today Saturday 29 Aug from 11:00-4:00. The museum is located in the old Ansted High School/Ansted Middle School classroom building. Please stop by.

Thanks to our generous folks that help with the MTCC Emergency Shelter we had the opportunity to help out with supplies for the Weston\Buckhannon floods. As you might expect there are two kinds of supplies we keep at MTCC for the emergency shelter: non perishable (cots, blankets, pillows, etc) and semi perishable (soap, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant). The semi perishable items must be resupplied from time to time. Please check out the attached flyer and consider helping out. Please note that we do not take fully perishable items (food products).

The Ansted Heritage Museum, now located at the Midland Trail Community Center (former Ansted High School & Middle School), will be open tomorrow (Saturday 1 Aug) from noon till 3:00 pm. The museum is located in Ms. Ramsey’s former home economics classroom.
