Blue Mountain View Farm grazes 100 milking cows on 80 acres of pasture. The pasture is made up of Ryegrass, Orchardgrass and clover with a few paddocks containing Alfalfa and other grasses and legumes. 60 acres is avaialbe for cropland and is used for corn and fall/spring cerial grain forages. We have been crossbreeding the Holsteins with Jersey and then Swedish Red with a few heifers sired by Montbeliarde, Nowegian Red, and New Zealand Ayrshire.
