DAV's mission is carried forward by: Providing free, professional assistance to veterans and their families in obtaining benefits & services earned through military service & provided by the Dep. Meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month, unless canceled, @ 6:30pm, 1830 for you military folks.

DAV Information Alert

The President signed S. 2392, the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2025, into law on November 25, 2025. The law authorizes a 2.8% cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for veterans receiving VA disability compensation and clothing allowance and for survivors receiving dependency indemnity compensation (DIC) payments.

The adjustment, based on the yearly change in the cost of living as determined by the Social Security Administration (SSA), will take effect on Dec. 1, 2025, and will be reflected in veterans’ and survivors’ Jan. 1, 2026, compensation payments.

The COLA adjustment is intended to help cover rising costs of living, such as groceries, housing and health care. Click here to view Public Law 119-42.
