Join us for our WWAP Sister Circle quarterly learning series, where we'll empower each other to prioritize mental wellness. Local certified counselors will guide our discussions on managing mental health and navigating everyday challenges in a safe, supportive environment.
Our next session is Saturday, May 23 at 10:00am at the Oxford Civic Center, Oxford, AL with Shay Dobbins as she discusses "When Strong Women Struggle: The Hidden Faces of Anxiety & Overwhelm".
Many women are praised for being “strong,” dependable, and high-achieving—while silently battling anxiety, overthinking, burnout, and emotional exhaustion behind the scenes. In this engaging and relatable workshop, participants will explore the different ways anxiety presents in women, including both high-functioning and more visible struggles with anxiety.
Through real-life examples, reflection, and practical coping strategies, attendees will learn how anxiety can influence decision-making, relationships, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and self-worth. This workshop will help women recognize unhealthy patterns, understand the impact of chronic stress and overthinking, and begin developing healthier ways to cope, set boundaries, and care for themselves without guilt.
Participants will leave feeling seen, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to support their mental and emotional wellness.
Mark your calendars and invite your friends. Let's embark on this journey to wellness together in 2026!
