(Long but please read and share) Ana's Gift Foundation....... another avenue of what we do!!! Thanks so much to our supporters. You giving is NOT in vain. Below is an email from Social Worker at Children's Hospital about the Walmart Gift Cards we have/and will continue to supply:
"One went to a transplant family who traveled from Mobile to speak to a class here at COA. I gave two to a family whose child died suddenly. She was waiting on a liver and she declined so suddenly that there was no time to wait on a liver to become available. They were a young family from Mississippi who had stayed with their child here at COA for a month. We helped them with funeral expenses and the gift cards were for gas and groceries. I got another organization to help with some bills because they were not able to work during that month. I have given a couple to different families to help with travel expenses to and from their homes. These cards have been greatly appreciated and came at times that there was no other funding available for their needs. I will continue to use them wisely and I appreciate them so much. Often the needs are immediate and have no time for filling out applications and waiting for checks to clear. I use these cards to help when there is no one else to help. Thank you again for your Foundation and the generous gifts you have provided. God Bless You!"
I remember so clearly when Ana first started dialysis. It was 3 times a week. I was a single mom. Although I had FMLA which allowed me time off work, that time was UNPAID. So caring for 4 kids, I really couldn't afford to be off work WITHOUT PAY. My church family United Christian Church "An International Ministry" helped TREMENDOUSLY (Shout out Bro. Walter Smith) but when they couldn't take her.... it was up to family. Momma would take her or me. Many days, I was low on gas, or my dad was struggling.... needed to eat while there, etc. Even those long hospital stays........ I ASKED if there was any help available. It was either limited, or none. BUT GOD!!!! So now to be able to help others with even the little things....... I KNOW my baby is smiling and so happy with her legacy. Her joy came from helping others even while SHE was the patient. THANK YOU ALL FOR DONATIONS, SUPPORT, PRAYERS! PLEASE HELP US CONTINUE TO SPREAD THE WORD OF ANA'S GIFT FOUNDATION.

1st round of Holiday deliveries..... Dialysis party tomorrow so delivering first set of caddies in AM. These are first pictures. Have since stuffed them with MORE goodies. Lol. When post when I deliver.

Big Thanks to those that offered to help Ana's Gift Foundation sponsor "goodie caddies" for the children doing dialysis and in patient on the renal floor during this holiday season. I spoke with the Social Worker there and she is SUPER excited. We will continue this venture into next year with families in the new support group as they prepare for transplantation. Thank God for the window of opportunity also opening for me to represent my baby Andreana Fleming and speak with those headed down that familiar lane of life.

Let’s see how many of these Littles Carry- All Caddy we can fill for those children at Children’s of Alabama Hospital being treated for kidney related issues.

Your contribution of $15 ** will get one of these caddy’s filled with care supplies that will be delivered in mid-December. What’s great about the Littles Carry-All Caddy is that they can be used continuously to hold supplies, goodies or other needed items.
