The Horizons School will have a special (free) workshop to help parents plan for their children with special needs. As many of you know, specific factors must be examined when planning for someone with special needs, especially if the individual has Medicaid. If you have clients with children, including adult children, who are on Medicaid and/or have special needs, please share this workshop information.

The workshop is October 21 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Horizons School.

Topic: Special Needs Financial and Estate Planning, a free workshop for parents, families and other caregivers
Place: Horizons School, 2018 15th Ave So, Birmingham, AL 35205
Date and Time: Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Families and community guests are welcome. No fee to attend.

Due to unforeseen events we have chosen to cancel our Christmas Social that was scheduled for December 10, 2020. We wish our Chapter Members a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

We have missed meeting and seeing everyone. We are tentatively planning on having a meeting October 8, 2020. Updates on confirmation of time and location will be posted. We are all looking forward to seeing everyone and getting busy planning for self advocacy trainings, events, and social fun in 2021!!!
