✨ Behind the Scenes: Alison Woodward
ALISON WOODWARD (Choreographer) Alison is excited to be back working with CAST Mainstage on GUYS AND DOLLS. Alison grew up in Arizona dancing at Stagedoor Dance Center where she was trained in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical and more with local teachers and professionals coming in from California and Las Vegas. Alison is the Owner and Artistic Director of Crazy About Dance where she spends her evenings working with dancers of all ages. She can also be found teaching dance classes at JSU in the Theater Department, working choreography for Encore! JSU Show Choir, or helping with choreography for Operas and Musicals. She loves helping out with AYTE and CAPA choreography and enjoyed tapping with Fiona and the mice from SHREK last year. Some of her favorite memories have been PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, HOLIDAY INN, SPRING AWAKENING, SPELLING BEE, OKLAHOMA, JR., MEAN GIRLS, JR., and SHREK. Alison is thankful for her husband, James, who goes along with this crazy dance world, and her two daughters, Olivia and Jillian, that also share her love of the stage.
