We spent the beginning of the semester with Mr. Dylan Hurst Calhoun County - Alabama Extension. He came once a week for six weeks to teach his free Fuel For Life Program which included a mini nutritional lesson and lab each week… labs included: pizza pockets, one pot pasta soup, smoothies, southwest bowls, chicken quesadillas, and chicken fried rice!

We were honored to have Ms. Erica Hardy in our classroom this semester for practicum hours! Students in FACS enjoyed the hands-on fashion assembly line simulation lab she taught last month. Each group member was in charge of one task to make the assembly line move efficiently, and the goal was to see how many shirts could be made to sell in a specific amount of time!
