Meet SRT Jameson Smith
Jameson has been on the patrol for 2 years and joined because he wanted the opportunity to help people. He’s part of Crew 8 and can be found guarding the beach between 44th–52nd Street this summer.
When he’s not in the stand, Jameson enjoys paintball, dodgeball with fellow lifeguards, bonfires on the beach, trips to Jolly Roger, cookouts, and other crew events. For recreation, he enjoys swimming, running, and hanging out with friends. During the off-season, he travels around the world.
Favorite OCBP Memory:
Winning Crew Comps during his rookie year.
Top Safety Tip:
“Always swim by a lifeguard.”
Be sure to introduce yourself to the lifeguard on your beach, they’re always happy to answer questions and help keep you safe this summer! ☀️

“Keep your feet in the sand until the lifeguard’s in the stand!”
