Today, MICUA celebrated Independent Higher Education Day in Annapolis.

Students and campus leaders from Maryland’s independent colleges and universities gathered to meet with legislators, share their experiences, and advocate for continued support of the Sellinger Program.

Throughout the day, students spoke about the importance of access, affordability, and the role independent institutions play in strengthening Maryland’s workforce and communities.

We are grateful to the Maryland leaders who took time to meet with our students and to everyone who helped make the day a success.
