SI Panther Packs The SI Panther Pack Program provides applicable children with a bag filled with non-perishable, easy to prepare (kid friendly) food on Fridays each week.

Many children have no food to eat from after school Friday until they get back to school on Monday. SI Panther Packs would like to change that! Each Friday a bag filled with food is placed anonymously in each child's backpack that has chosen to participate. The food consists of two Breakfast, Lunch, Supper, and snack items to last over the weekend. This program depends solely on donations from ind

ividuals and organizations in our community to keep food stocked for the bags each week. It costs about $4 to feed a child each week. If you would like to contribute to this project, you drop off your donation at school or you can send donations to:

Your donations are 100% tax deductible, and 100% of your donation is used to purchase food for panther packs.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, every one of you is greatly appreciated! And all of the people who have shared our posts and spread the word about our program a big Thank you to you as well!

All of the donations go directly to providing food for children in our community!

The SI Panther Pack program has been in existence for nine years now! We are now providing weekend meals to over 60 kids each Friday. That is over 500 meal items each week. In the last seven years, Panther Packs has provided over 17,600 packs of food and over 140,000 meal items to kids in the South Iron community!
Food cost for a child each week is about $4, which means it costs about $7500 to fund the year.

Many South Iron children have no food to eat on the weekends. SI Panther Packs would like to change that! Each Friday, a bag filled with non-perishable, easy-to-prepare (kid-friendly) food is placed anonymously in each child's backpack that has chosen to participate. The SI Panther Pack program has been in existence for nine years now! We are now providing weekend meals to over 60 kids each Friday. That is over 500 meal items each week. This program depends solely on donations from individuals and organizations in our community to keep food stocked for the bags each week. Without these donations, the program would cease to exist. We have a great need as our finances are running low, and we will likely not have enough to last through the remainder of the school year.

The iCare4Kids project is matching up to $1000 donated to Panther Packs through March 2024!! So, every dollar we receive from the community will be two!
