A strong final night at Long Course State Championships! Emma Luhta led the way with a 1st place finish in the Girls 10&U 200 IM, while Maren Monaldo added a 5th place finish.

In the Boys 10&U 200 IM, Jackson Coslick captured the state title with a 1st place swim, and Tyler Kuykendall secured 3rd—capping off an outstanding night and meet for ASC!

We’ve had a few more club records fall at Futures in the last 24 hours!

💪 FAST 50 Breastroke for our senior guys at both meets. Jack Garvey earns his own first-ever individual club record in the 50 Breastroke! Jack’s time of 30.42 clips the mark held by Matthew Rottunda set at this meet last year 👏.

💪 The stellar ladies get it done again. Last night the team of Stern, Addleman, Pruski and Swope notch a 4:00.2 in the 400 Free Relay to take off another second and a half from the mark set this spring up in Buffalo.

💪 Clara Pruski notches another club record to herself in the 100 Fly! Last night, Clara swam to a 1:03.2 besting former classmate and record holder, Natalie L, who held the mark since her own campaign at Futures ‘24.

We are super proud of our national team and their showing this week down in Greensboro!

Yay for Day 4! Congrats to Jaytee Brown for earning HIS first ever Futures qualifying time!! Jaytee’s 50 Breastroke time of 30.7 this morning gets him on the National Team bus for next summer AND clips the former Maryland Long Course State MEET RECORD! Way to go, Jaytee!!

Another incredible night of racing at State Championships! Emma Luhta powered her way to a 1st place finish in the Girls 10&U 400 Free, with Maren Monaldo earning 3rd. Both swimmers delivered outstanding swims, finishing under the AAAA standard!

The Girls 10&U 200 Medley Relay team of Delaney Seavers, Maren Monaldo, Hadley Seavers, and Emma Luhta also raced to a 1st place finish, adding another standout performance to the night!

And it’s the beginning of . Over the next two days, our treasured class of 2026 swims in their final races in our cap and pivots over to the ASC alumni lane. How lucky are we to have an elite 1️⃣ 1️⃣ graduates who trained hard and raced all the way through the end of summer. Across two meets and two states, we felt the presence of one team and one fleet! Here’s to them and their next chapter in their athletic and academic journeys. Each of them and all 26ers will be 💜🖤💜🖤

The Annapolis Swim Club 2026 National Team! We have been attending Futures for the last five years consistently. Each year, we have had a bigger fleet, more finals swims, and the real treat this year- fielding relay teams in every relay (excluding one) for both our ladies and men. We’ve had best times, night swims, lowering of our own team records, and a lot of learning and growth. I have heard many compliments about how many athletes we have swimming and the vibes our teenagers bring to the meet!

Big FINALS tonight for our 10&Under swimmers at State Champs!

In the Girls 10&U 50 Fly, Hadley Seavers finished 1st, Emma Luhta took 3rd, and Maren Monaldo placed 5th.

Emma Luhta also won the 200 Free, with Maren Monaldo finishing 4th.

The Boys 200 Free Relay took 1st place, with Tyler Kuykendall, Oliver Bark, Connor Finlayson, and Jackson Coslick combining for the win.
