It's an "oldie" post from Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works, but still a "goodie" to remember! See https://www.aacounty.org/public-works/waste-management for more information.

Have larger items you need to dispose of like a sofa, mattress, or table? Did you know we can collect up to three bulk trash items per collection day without an appointment? The only time you need to schedule is when you have a large METAL item or an appliance, which you can do easily with Waste Management's Customer Service team at (410) 222-6100 or by using the SeeClickFix app (https://seeclickfix.com/md_anne-arundel/report).

Of course, we always encourage you to donate first when possible, and the item is in good condition. https://www.aacounty.org/departments/public-works/waste-management/reduce-reuse/

Please also be mindful of weather before setting out large items that can become waterlogged, like fabric furniture and mattresses. Learn more about Bulk Item Collection here: https://bit.ly/3zcS3MS.

Added road flares for safety to help prevent a head on collision as you can not see the tree obstruction until you really come upon the tree.

This edition needs no introduction from this long time board member and ex-President. No, no, it only needs outstanding prose from the President himself – Thor.

“As summer settles into its stride, there are certain sights and sounds that remind us we are fortunate to call Cape St Claire home. Children riding bikes with towels draped over their handlebars, early morning paddle boards on the Magothy, golf carts lined with beach chairs and coolers heading towards the water, sailing camp underway, sim meets filling the weekends, crab pots soaking in the water, and boats headed out towards the Bay or Dobbin’s Island as neighbors gather for cookouts at sunset.”

Nothing says “The Cape In Summertime” than this. ... read more...
