What an incredible day at our Move Partners Showcase! 🎉

Earlier this week, future residents and guests joined us to connect with more than 50 trusted professionals ready to help make the move to The Village at Providence Point easier, more organized and less overwhelming. Attendees had the opportunity to meet experts in downsizing, staging, real estate, elder law and home health care, all in one place.

We are grateful to our vendor partners, guests and team members who helped make this event such a success. The energy in the room, the valuable conversations and the helpful resources shared throughout the day reinforced what makes our community special: supporting each other every step of the journey.

Multiple construction phases are active at The Village at Providence Point. Framing work is the most noticeable advancement, while crews are installing plumbing systems at the pool and terraces, and the health center is scheduled to receive concrete pours soon. Inspections for steel, concrete and other areas are ongoing across the site as the project advances on schedule.

The future is taking shape at The Village at Providence Point!

This week, future residents and prospective residents got an exciting behind-the-scenes look at our growing community during special construction site tours. Guests boarded a trolley and traveled through the campus, getting an up-close view of the progress being made across the site. For some, it was even more exciting as they were able to see their future home beginning to take shape!

Exciting progress is underway at The Village at Providence Point, where construction continues to advance across several areas of the community. Wood framing is progressing on residential buildings, interior mechanical and electrical systems are being installed, and pool and spa area work is underway. Site access roads are nearing completion as the project advances through concurrent construction phases. All remains on schedule.

SPA ROAD DAYTIME CLOSURE AND DETOUR BEGINS SEPTEMBER 28

A section of Spa Road between Forest Drive and Harness Creek and Ferry Point roads be closed to traffic starting Monday, September 28, while crews install underground lines for The Village at Providence Point construction project. The closure will be in effect weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Work is expected to continue through Friday, October 30, weather permitting.

During closure hours:

- Traffic from Ferry Point Road and Harness Creek Road will be detoured onto Hunt Meadow Drive; and
- Southbound traffic on Spa Road will also be detoured onto Hunt Meadow Drive.

Detour signs will direct motorists around the work zone.

The lines being installed are deep enough that crews must use trench boxes, which are steel supports that protect workers during excavation. The boxes will take up most of both travel lanes. Spa Road is narrow in this section, so it is not safe for vehicles to get around the equipment while excavation is under way.

Spa Road will reopen to regular traffic outside of work hours. Motorists should allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signs.
