The Chase Home celebrated St. John's students Pharren and Emerson by hosting a Bon Voyage party after working with us for 3 years as a Thank you for their hard work and dedication to our mission.

We invited St. John's students to join us on May 5th to wish them a good epic journey post graduation. The theme of the celebration coincided with the Cinco de Mayo comemoration where the Mexican army defeated the French from invasion.

Congratulations to our very own executive director, Heather East, for being one of the first 100 women honorees at the Coretta Scott King Women's Day Celebration!

This event paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Coretta Scott King by celebrating women who exemplify leadership, service, and a commitment to justice and equality.

Thank you to Jenese Jones for her keynote speech and Carl Snowden for his working setting it up.

Joygrows and Eastport Community are building a 4000 square-foot greenhouse and urban farm community hub within the cities only recognized food desert.

By the end of summer we will have hosted hundreds of hours of youth enrichment; Growing Leaders for the future of Annapolis.

By the end of the growing season, we will have grown more than 10,000 servings of fresh vegetables for community nourishment and resiliency.

April is Fair Housing Month. Read about Federal budget cuts below. Analysis by the National Low Income Housing Coalition.

The Trump Administration released today (April 3) a fiscal year (FY) 2027 budget request calling for an overall 10 percent cut to non-defense programs, including a cut of at least $3.8 billion dollars to HUD’s vital affordable housing, homelessness, and community development programs.
