We're still thinking about this one...

The SUM FUNCTION premiere was one of those moments that reminds you exactly why we do this. The energy in the room, the reaction from the audience, the conversations after… it’s something we'll never forget.

We wish we could include a photo of every single person who made this weekend possible, but there are just too many to capture in one place.

To our 200+ volunteers and nearly 50 staff members, please know how much we see you and appreciate you. Every shift, every long day, every moment you showed up with a smile, solved a problem, or helped someone feel welcome—it all mattered.

There is no way to fully thank every person who gave their time and energy this weekend, but we hope you know how deeply grateful we are. This festival simply wouldn’t happen without you.

Our annual Jewish breakfast is one of those can’t-miss festival traditions.

A sold-out crowd, great conversation, and the perfect way to kick off the day before a powerful film. It’s everything we love about the Annapolis Film Festival, community, connection, and that shared energy you can feel in the room.

A huge thank you to Medicina La Mujer, Oscar’s Coffee , Whole Foods Market, Graul's Market-Annapolis & Cape St. Claire, and Bagels and... for making the morning so special.

And an even bigger thank you to Tovah Feldshuh for joining us and bringing to the festival as this year’s Jewish Experience film.

SUM FUNCTION isn’t just about wheelchair rugby. It follows a group of friends, each living with impairments in all four limbs, as they figure out life after everything changes. It’s about purpose, connection, and pushing through a world that isn’t built for them. The kind of story that stays with you.

And the room showed up for it.

The Oscar Mike Militia team was there. The United States Naval Academy Rugby team came out in full support. Co-directors Noah Currier and Nick Cavalier - Director joined for a live Q&A after the screening. You could really feel what this film meant in real time.

These are the moments that make our festival so special, and we’re so incredibly grateful chose Annapolis for its debut.
