🎭 The curtain is officially up!

Day 1 of our very first Musical Theater Summer Intensive is here, and we couldn’t be more excited! This week is filled with singing, dancing, acting, new friendships, and plenty of creativity as these talented young performers take the stage.

We can’t wait to watch them grow in confidence, have fun, and shine all week long. Here’s to an unforgettable first summer intensive, we’re so glad you’re along for the journey!

What happens when two organizations dedicated to helping students thrive come together? Great things.

Last week, we were honored to host New Village Academy’s fundraiser in our studio and learn more about their innovative, learner-centered approach to education. Their commitment to empowering students through real-world experiences, community connections, and individualized learning is truly inspiring.

At Live Arts Maryland, we believe the arts have the power to transform lives, inspire creativity, and strengthen communities. Those values align beautifully with the work New Village Academy is doing, and we are excited about the opportunities ahead as our organizations collaborate in support of students and families throughout the region.

We are grateful to have welcomed New Village Academy into our studio space and look forward to growing this partnership in the months and years ahead.

Together, we’re helping create a community where young people can learn, create, explore, and thrive.
