🌱 Meet our September Learning Lab speakers!

We’re excited to welcome Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin and Martine Palmiter for a conversation about faith, sustainability, and caring for our shared home.

✨ Nina Beth Cardin is a community rabbi and environmental leader working at the intersection of faith and sustainability. She chairs Baltimore’s Jewish Environmental Sustainability Network and is the author of To Forever Inhabit This Earth.

🌿 Martine Palmiter is an interfaith Zen teacher and EarthCare leader at Rockville United Church. A lifelong gardener, she brings experience in community gardening, sustainable farming, and Earth care across faith traditions.

Our September Learning Lab will explore the vital role farmers play in caring for the land and water that sustain us. We’ll hear from local farming partners about practices that support healthy soil, clean water, biodiversity, and resilient communities.
