Medicine With a Mission is honored to have worked with Michael McElhaney of Kittanning Rotary Club, Rotary District 7280 PA, USA, who delivered a Project C.U.R.E. Kit to The Ideas Partnership. The Ideas Partnership in Prishtina, Kosovo, has a clinic that serves the refugee population and is sponsored by the Rotary Club Prishtina Dardania, Kosovo.

"We sincerely appreciate this contribution, which will support their ongoing health work with the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities they serve." - The Ideas Partnership

In the photo, you’ll notice a book placed on top of the kits. That book is more than decoration. It represents the belief that health, dignity, and imagination all go hand in hand. Written by an author who is both blind and autistic, the story’s fictional world of Plopville reminds children that imagination has no limits and that being authentically yourself is a superpower. With whimsical characters, including a cartoon cheese character named “Drip Drop Cheese,” the book celebrates unique minds and different ways of experiencing the world.

This story is used as an educational and inclusive tool at events like Children’s Disability Book Week, offering relatable stories for neurodivergent and disabled youth. For us, it symbolizes exactly what this Project CURE partnership is about: not only delivering medical supplies, but also supporting communities in ways that affirm every child’s value, potential, and voice.

Recent reports from our Rotary International partners in Medicine With a Mission’s Project C.U.R.E. Kit program, made possible through the support of The Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis) and Rotary District 7620, paint a powerful picture of hope and healing for communities in need. Here is one such report from Centro Educativo y de Salud Pantanic.

"On March 13, 2026, two of us, together with Clint White, President Elect of Club Rotario del Lago Atitlan, traveled by tuk tuk and local bus up the hill from the town of Panajachel to tour the clinic, meet with the doctor and clinic staff and deliver the much needed Project Cure supplies. The clinic is not government supported and serves a rural community in which, due to the topography, it is very difficult for clients to get to the clinic. One of the doctors at the clinic, who we did not meet, was a local who was sponsored through medical school by Rotary."

It's been a busy twelve months and we are coming to the end of an amazing project, made possible with support of The Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis) and Rotary District 7620 and Rotary International clubs in the United States. Twenty Rotarians partnered with us and delivered 20 Project C.U.R.E. Kits containing basic medical supplies to under-resourced countries around the world. That's a total of $40,000 of supplies saving lives and improving the quality of health care for those who have little or nothing.

A recent delivery was made possible by Rotary Club of Annapolis. A Project C.U.R.E. Kit was handed off to clinical leadership in Panajachel, Guatemala, during an in-country distribution. Direct, person-to-person delivery is central to the program model.

This Easter reminds us that light still rises from darkness, hope still grows out of sorrow, and love always has the final word.

The stone was rolled away not only in a garden long ago, but wherever hearts choose faith, kindness, and compassion today. At Medicine With a Mission, we see that same miracle each time healing begins... when care restores hope, and one act of love makes another possible.

As we mark this season of renewal, we look ahead with faith and purpose, committed to serving others with empathy, advancing health through compassion, and carrying light into places that need it most.

To everyone celebrating, and to those simply seeking a new beginning... may Easter bring fresh strength, gentle healing, and the courage to believe in brighter days ahead.

From our hearts to yours, wishing you and your loved ones peace, gratitude, and the quiet joy of knowing you are meant to be .

Calling all U.S. Rotary International Clubs planning service trips to under-resourced countries: we’d love to partner with you.

Medicine With a Mission, in partnership with The Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis) and Rotary Rotary District 7620, is helping Rotarians hand-carry hope by distributing free Project C.U.R.E. Kits, suitcase-sized packages with roughly $2,000 worth of basic medical supplies that you can take as checked luggage directly to local clinics and hospitals. These simple items can make a profound difference for families who don’t have access to the resources we often take for granted.

If your club is preparing a service trip and would like to be a blessing to the communities you visit in this very practical way, please respond here on this page for more information, and please like and share this post with other U.S. Rotary Clubs who might want to join in this effort. Together, we can turn every suitcase into an opportunity to save lives and restore dignity.

Only Six Free Project C.U.R.E. Kits Left – Turn Your Rotary Trip Into a Life-Saving Mission...

Through a partnership with The Rotary Club of Parole (Annapolis) and Rotary District 7620, our Project C.U.R.E. program has placed life-saving medical supplies directly into the hands of caregivers in India, Honduras, Guatemala, Western Kenya, Haiti... and now the Philippines. Together, these collaborations will have delivered $28,000 of essential supplies to clinics that need them most.

Thanks to generous support, six fully funded Project C.U.R.E. Kits remain available free of charge to any U.S. Rotary clubs (first-come, first-served). Each kit, valued at $2,000, is shipped directly to the Rotarian who will hand carry it on an upcoming service trip abroad.

Your club doesn’t need to be on a medical mission to take part—whether you’re building wells, teaching, or installing solar lights, you can make room for one suitcase that changes lives.

By joining us, your club will:

Deliver vital medical tools to under-resourced clinics and hospitals.

Strengthen club-to-club partnerships across borders.

Contribute insights to a Rotary “how-to” guide for replicating hands-on global health efforts.

Let’s transform another six journeys into six life-saving missions.
