What an Honor!

Hey Hoppers check out these photos of Charles "Bop Daddy" Adams, Hoppy's son, at the National Black Radio Hall of Fame Induction Program on Saturday, September 20, in St. Louis, Missouri.

St. Louis is the proud home of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame.

Hoppy being honored in the Hall of Fame is well deserved. His impact is still being felt decades later through our continued work in the community he so loved, Annapolis.

This is a great award for his legacy and an even bigger one for the city!

Salute!

It is with deep pride and heartfelt joy that we share this momentous news:

Our very own Hoppy Adams has been inducted posthumously into the National Black Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

From the heart of Annapolis to the airwaves across the nation, Hoppy Adams’ voice, vision, and charisma helped define the sound of Black radio and uplift generations. This honor not only acknowledges his groundbreaking contributions, but cements his place among the greatest African-American radio broadcasters in history.

The official induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel—the national headquarters of the Hall of Fame. It promises to be a powerful celebration of legacy, culture, and the voices that moved a movement.

We thank the National Black Radio Hall of Fame and Hurricane Dave Smith for this incredible honor. Hoppy's legacy lives on, and we look forward to celebrating his rightful place among legends.

See you in St. Louis!
