For Indigenous Peoples' Day, we're celebrating the recent conservation and cultural win for the The Rappahannock Tribe.

Over the summer, the Rappahannock Indian Tribe rematriated 704 acres of their ancestral land along Fones Cliffs. In total, the Tribe now stewards 2,391 acres of their original land.

The new launch, located at Rash Field Park, is the first dedicated public launch built for kayaks and paddlecraft in Baltimore. Awesome!

Waterfront Partnership

The launch is part of a long-term initiative to establish more than 30 miles of water trails and public water access sites throughout the city's waterfront.

A new poll from Eastern Shore Land Conservancy shows 63% of voters across the Midshore support the construction of a new Chesapeake Bay Bridge and 95% of respondents believe that prioritizing farmland and open space protection as part of the new Bay Bridge is important.

Congratulations to our friends at Baker Donelson on the grand opening of their new Baltimore office space, located the same floor of Barb and Boh's nest scrape. A few members of our staff attended the reception and were able to see the nest of our favorite peregrine falcon couple.

Thank you to Baker-Donelson for being incredible stewards of the scrape and we're looking forward to the next falcon season!
