The Junior League of Annapolis honors the resilience, contributions, and achievements of Black communities. We remain committed to promoting equity, inclusion, and lasting positive change in every corner of our work.

📚 Today's featured award holds a very special place in our hearts and reminds us of the amazing legacy of the Junior League of Annapolis. The Jennifer Summers Barrett Award honors the legacy of Jenn Barrett, whose passion for literacy, children, and community impact continues to inspire the League today. This award recognizes a member who reflects Jenn’s dedication to improving the lives of others, especially children in our local community.

❤ This year’s recipient is Rhonda Caldwell-Dove. Rhonda's relentless hard work and community awareness helped to foster new partnerships with other organizations in our community. We were able to help areas of Anne Arundel County with the highest need and focus our volunteer efforts in these spaces. Thank you for all the great work you did this year; it truly embodies the legacy of Jenn Barrett.

💞 The Junior League of Annapolis continues to develop and evolve as we help the community in new ways. And the Janus Award recognizes these efforts.
