On May 16, 2010, the Anne Arundel County Alumnae Chapter - Lambda Delta Sigma was chartered by 11 dynamic leaders with a “technology centric” approach: Jean Malone, Kimberly Ellison-Taylor, Delores Routh, Debra Y. 💙💛 In Loving Memory of Cultured Pearl Soror Alice Sue Cooper Lee 💛💙

It is with profound sadness that the Legendary Lambda Delta Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated mourns the passing of Cultured Pearl Soror Alice Sue Cooper Lee and extends our heartfelt condolences to our Sorors of the Alpha Alpha Sigma Alumnae Chapter, her family, loved ones, and all who were blessed to know her.

Cultured Pearl Soror Cooper Lee holds a special place in the history and heart of Lambda Delta Sigma. She contributed to the early development of our chapter, lending her wisdom, support, and commitment to strengthening the foundation upon which LDS continues to build today. In recognition of her contributions and dedication to Sigma, she was also a recipient of Lambda Delta Sigma’s Sigma Beacon Award.

As we reflect upon her life, may we find comfort in the legacy she leaves behind and continue to carry forward the light she so graciously shared to our beloved sorority.

What a successful chapter retreat to kick-off the new sorority year as we prepare to ELEVATE! Sorors and Philos were able to learn, fellowship, and plan so that we can continue to make an impact through our service in Anne Arundel County.

That’s a wrap on the 61st Biennial Boule! The ladies of the Legendary Lambda Delta Sigma Chapter and our Legendary Philos spent the last week in Tampa, Florida fellowshiping, performing community service, and taking care of the business of Sigma. Safe travels to all Sorors, Affiliates, Guests and Friends as everyone makes their way safely from Tampa Bay.
