This was the weekend of the annual Oyster Roast regatta at Severn Sailing Association hosted by Thistle Fleet 34. One of the biggest draws to the regatta, in addition to the front row seat on Annapolis Harbor, is the promise of 'all you can eat' oysters - steamed and raw - as well as a variety of appetizers, all of this before dinner! These photos that I took yesterday afternoon show the camaraderie and the healthy appetites of fellow Thistle sailors and their families. The party continued until the food was gone and the clouds settled in with a few drops of rain.

I won't even try to name everyone in each photo - if you were there you will recognize yourself! :)

As always - a special thanks to regatta organizers Cairn and Charlie Krafft. Cairn, this event, and especially this party, wouldn't happen without you, Mary Pat McNulty and the other kitchen helpers!!!
