"We must protect ourselves and others from increasingly militarised policing - where chemical weapons, fi****ms, tasers, etc are in common use against unarmed demonstrators and individuals. At the very least, every demonstrator should carry a baton and everyone should question the authority of the cops. The police are the attack dogs of the state, the army of the rich..."

September 29th, 1829, the Metropolitan Police make their first appearance on the streets of London. They are met with jeering, abuse and resistance wherever they are seen. People saw them to be a threat to civil liberties, a violent means of protecting the rich and paid mercenaries against working class communities and unruly workforces.

They were not seen as 'public servants'. Other indications of the Constabulary's unpopularity of the time, were such nicknames as Raw Lobsters, Blue Devils, Beetle Crushers (because of their large boots), Cuntstables, Filth, Pigs and 'Peel's Bloody Gang'. Officers were physically assaulted, pelted with horse-sh*t, impaled, kidnapped, tied up and left with abusive notes pinned to them.

One of the priorities and remits of the Metropolitan Police from the beginning, was "maintaining public order", which they were active in doing, against any major demonstration but particularly the Chartist demonstrations of 1839–48. This was the advent of 'political policing' in service of the state against the people, and they have continued in that vein ever since. At every demonstration and protest to protect our environment, our homes, our communities, our jobs, etc, they are there. A pack of inadequate, yet increasingly militarised bully-boys that will do exactly as their politician masters tell them.

Faith in the Met plummets to less than half of Londoners - as just 4% of young women strongly trust the force: https://www.lbc.co.uk/news/metropolitan-police-trust-force-young-women/?fbclid=IwY2xjawFmF-BleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHfBJf2lKYP5r8Y3VlfCov3s6Maldkub82XDA8nLuOZtctBBBRlAXhPzMfQ_aem_nqAIxVy_rsOu7QlnIwSAww

Untill after the revolution support your local anarchists

★Anarchism, a mass force that seeks not to seize political power, but to utterly destroy it...

NO GODS NO MASTERS is an epic and brilliant history of a century of anarchist thought and practice, featuring leading historians and essayists, dramatic archival footage, and lively commentary that keeps the subject engaging. Divided into sections each based on key events, this work is a comprehensive yet accessible introduction to the multi-faceted global anarchist movement – once a mass force that sought not to seize political power, but to utterly destroy it.

The Russian Revolution. The Spanish Republic. The Paris Commune. The Ukrainian revolution. The Mexican Revolution. From the late 19th century until World War II, anarchists played a key role in these events and in social movements that would shape the world we live in.

Yet these contributions are largely and deliberately erased from history. Anarchists were considered so dangerous that forces of the state from both 'left' and right, slaughtered them by the thousands, while they were betrayed, arrested, and killed by their erstwhile revolutionary allies.

Anarchy is often used as a synonym for chaos and destruction – with anarchists seen as black-clad nihilists fomenting violence at peaceful protests. But Tancrède Ramonet's NO GODS NO MASTERS reveals the far more complex history of a viable social system and the men and women who devoted themselves to making it a reality.

It amazing how many people hate Muslims.

Idgaf at the end of WW3 (which we are in btw) everyone will be Muslim Or Chinese. It’s just a numbers game guys. No bias here. Just maths. And the only people worth saving from the hell fire that is earth is sure to come are the Latinos.

This is also why I’m not in charge.
