🔹The West North Central region saw the largest year-over-year occupancy jump among entrance fee CCRCs — up 3.5 percentage points
🔹CCRC occupancy continued to outpace non-CCRCs across all care segments, although non-CCRCs are seeing faster occupancy growth

The NIC team recently came together for our mid-year staff meeting to reflect on the first half of the year and prepare for what's ahead.

Throughout the week, we recapped the success of the NIC Spring & Growth Conference, began planning for the 2026 NIC Fall Conference, discussed new research initiatives, and explored ways to continue delivering the data, insights, and connections the senior housing and care industry relies on.

The gathering was also a reminder that strong organizations are built on strong relationships. In addition to collaborating with colleagues from across the country, we had the opportunity to spend time with the team behind a local baseball game experience, gaining a behind-the-scenes perspective on what it takes to create memorable events and bring people together.
