NIC is partnering with to identify the nation’s top-performing senior living communities for resident health outcomes and examine how their care, staffing, and operational strategies differ from their peers.

The study builds on earlier NIC-funded research showing that senior living residents are more likely to live longer, have fewer hospitalizations, and enjoy a better quality of life than older adults living in the broader community.

🔹The research will produce insights for:
🔹Operators working to improve performance
🔹Investors evaluating portfolio quality
🔹Policymakers considering the future of quality measurement

The initiative launches this month, with a capstone report planned for fall 2027.
