From I-78 to Route 22: One Call, Many Responders
Earlier today, Annandale Hose Company volunteers joined several public safety partners for a motor vehicle crash that required a coordinated response in Lebanon Borough.
Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle that had left Interstate 78, traveled through a wooded area, crossed into a nearby business parking lot off Route 22, and came to rest on its side. Fire, rescue, EMS, law enforcement, and air medical personnel worked together to stabilize the scene, assist occupants, and provide patient care and transportation.
Incidents like this highlight the strength of the mutual aid system throughout Hunterdon County. From rescue operations and patient care to traffic control and scene management, every agency played an important role in ensuring a safe and efficient response.
We thank our partners from South Branch Emergency Services (36 Rescue), Lebanon Borough Fire Company (18 Fire), New Jersey State Police, Hunterdon Medical Center Paramedics, Tewksbury First Aid & Rescue Squad, air medical crews, and the many additional responders who assisted on scene.
Today’s incident was a great example of teamwork, coordination, and the strong mutual aid relationships that help our communities every day.
Stay safe, slow down, and stay alert on the road.
