We love the soft, steady gaze of this little chocolate Teddy Graham! It seems to reflect curiosity, confidence and hope. Make him yours, and his gaze will be filled with love. His lucky new family will have all the joy of introducing him to life as a treasured pet, where he feels secure, doesn’t have to wonder where his next meal is coming from, has a cozy bed of his own and is truly beloved.

Ginger: 9-yr-old daughter
~ 86 pounds
Need: Single-family home; no fence required
Good with: Kids 10+; unknown with cats
House trained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes

Status: Available. With a foster; need a forever home

They happily soak up every ounce of affection their humans have to offer, but do need a strong handler on leash who can manage a combined 180+ lbs of furry curiosity. Plenty of exercise and healthy eating will help them shed a few pounds, too.

MATTIS
6 year old male
~ 88 lbs
Good with: Children 10+, dogs; cats unknown
Needs: Single family home (fence negotiable, but physical or e-fence preferred)
House trained? Yes
Crate trained? Yes

Status: Available; needs foster or forever home.
To foster, visit: http://lab-rescue.org/volunteer
Working on: Leash manners
Enjoys: 2-and 4-legged friends, fetch

If we could give Mattis five stars, we would. But that’s an honor reserved for wartime generals like Eisenhower, MacArthur and Bradley. Still, Mattis is very nearly the perfect pup. He is super handsome, loves all people and dogs, is reportedly good with cats (though hasn’t been cat-tested) and takes treats ever so gently. He’s got skills, too: ask him to show you how he holds three tennis balls in his mouth! Mattis belonged to a serviceman who surrendered him to Lab Rescue when he was due to deploy and couldn’t find anyone to keep his beloved dog. Let’s give this serviceman some peace of mind by finding Mattis a loving new family.

BOBBY
8-year-old male
Approximately 77lbs
Good with: Dogs; no cats
Needs: Single-family home; with a physical fence
House-trained: Yes
Crate-trained: Yes, but doesn't need to be crated

Status: Currently fostered (To apply to foster dogs with Lab Rescue, please see lab-rescue.org/volunteer.)
Working On: Being comfortable around new people
Enjoys: Getting affection from his foster mom

BOBBY has come a long way, since coming to Lab Rescue. Trusting people and being around them was difficult for him at first, but he is making great progress. He now feels safe and confident in his foster home and enjoys attention and interaction with people he knows. He is intelligent and able to learn new things, but he is also playful and goofy. Bobby has good manners in the house and can settle nicely without needing to be entertained. He's a bit strong on the leash, but is not reactive - just eager to get moving. Bobby is ready to settle down in a real home that he can truly call his own. He would like it to be a quiet home with a securely fenced yard so he can explore the world around him and enjoy all the great scents just waiting to be investigated.

CASEY & NATHAN
2-year-old males
Approximately 65-70lbs
Good with: Children ages 10+ yrs & dogs; unknown with cats
Needs: Single-family home with a 6' physical fence. They are bonded and must be adopted together.
House-trained: Yes
Crate-trained: Yes

Status: Currently fostered & available for adoption
Working On: Being comfortable interacting with humans
Enjoy: Slow feeders, puzzle toys, bully sticks

CASEY & NATHAN are two handsome brothers who share a very strong bond. When they came to Lab Rescue they were fearful and undersocialized, but have lately shown themselves to be a funny and endearing pair of silly adolescents. They love to play together in the yard, and enjoy toys that keep them busy inside, like bully sticks and puzzle toys. Both dogs will approach people they know for food and attention, but adopters should keep in mind that they may be a flight risk, so attention should be paid near doors and gates. Casey is generally the leader and sometimes pushes Nathan around, but he also helps give Nathan reassurance in new situations and a sense of security. Leash walking is still a work in progress and they will likely always be home bodies. They get along well with other dogs, but always stick together. They are a package deal that offers a double reward for a loving and patient adopter.

THANKS TO A GENEROUS DONOR WHO BELIEVES EVERY LAB DESERVES A LOVING HOME, THIS PAIR’S ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN REDUCED BY $100
