Today was our Anna District #37 annual Golf Scramble. We raised $9012.00 for our students!! Huge thank you to all involved and the donations of all kinds and sizes. Many of our winners donated the money back to the kids.

1st place— Bowen, Butler, Pinnon and Hodges with a score of 57
2nd place— Meisenheimer, Miller, Gross and Miller with a score of 58
3rd place- Brewer, Ayers, Smith and Smith with a score of 61

One month from today is our fundraising golf scramble! We encourage you to gather a team and sign up for a day of fun. Mark your calendars! June 13th. It’s time for the Anna District #37 Foundation Golf Scramble. If you would like to participate or make a donation, please contact one of the board members or comment below and we will contact you! With last years donations, the Foundation was able to purchase new band uniforms for our students, that hadn’t been purchased in over 30 years! Help us build our funds back up this year by donating or participating in this fun filled day of Golf !!

Anna District #37 Foundation Board presented a check to Band Director, Mrs. Holly Newman and band students today in the amount of $12,000 for the purchase of new band uniforms. District #37 band students have not had new band uniforms for over 30 years😳 and they were excited today. Our Foundation is proud of our efforts in raising these funds! We appreciate those that gave private donations and those that contributed to our fundraisers last year to make this donation possible. We have a couple of fundraisers coming up this year and will post information on them soon. Thanks again!

Stop by our table on September 25th at the Anna Junior High School. We will be hanging out from 4:30-7:30 during the opening of the Time Capsule. In addition to the raffle ticket entry box, we will also have a donation box. All donations go towards purchasing large items for our students that the school budget doesn’t allow. This past year with hard work and your donations we raised over 17,000 dollars to be able to buy new band uniforms for the kiddos that had not been purchased in 30 years. We are excited to keep the momentum rolling so make sure to drop by! Please share this post for us!

Stop by our table on Thursday, September 25th, at the Anna Junior High School. We will be hanging out during the opening of the time capsule from 4:30-7:30. In addition to the raffle entry box, we will have a box for donations. All donations go toward large purchases for our students that are not in the school budget! Anna District 37 Foundation held its first annual Golf Scramble today at the Union County Golf Course. What a great day it was!! We are grateful for the all participants. Each team that placed today, donated their winnings back to us. Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough, but we sure appreciate it. Our hope is to build this to be bigger and better in the coming years. Also want to thank Mrs. Newman for having some of her band students there today to help our cause and have some fun with the golfers. All of these funds raised today will be put towards new band uniforms for the students at Anna Junior High School. The current jackets that these students wear are from 1993. And lastly, I personally wanna thank the members of the foundation that have donated time, money and attended meetings the last couple of months to help pull this together today. It’s a team effort and we accomplished what we sat out to do. To the Anna District 37 community reading this, we are an organization that raises money to purchase items that the school funding does not cover and donations are always welcome!
