We are excited to announce our enthusiastic endorsement of Debbie Dingell for Congress, District 6.

Debbie Dingell is a tireless fighter for Michigan’s working families, serving in Congress since 2015. She believes progress comes from working together to protect the Great Lakes, lower healthcare costs, strengthen infrastructure, create good-paying manufacturing jobs, protect our environment, and restore faith in our democracy.

Debbie has spent her life advocating for women, children, workers, and families. Before serving in Congress, she successfully fought to include women in federally funded health research, championed women's health initiatives, helped reduce infant mortality in Michigan, and promoted early childhood education. She also served as an executive at General Motors, strengthening the American auto industry, and later led the GM Foundation's charitable efforts. As Chair of the Wayne State University Board of Governors, she worked to expand access to affordable higher education.

Throughout her career, Debbie has remained committed to bringing people together to improve the lives of Michigan families.

We enthusiastically endorse Congresswoman Debbie Dingell for re-election in CD 6. We encourage all residents of CD 6 to mobilize and support her campaign leading up to the General Election, and to VOTE for her on November 3rd!

We are excited to announce our wholehearted endorsement of Jen Strebs for State Representative, District 41 (Jen Strebs for State Rep.).

Jen is a Clinical Quality Specialist, Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional, and Qualified Mental Health Professional at Southwest Michigan Behavioral Health, and a three-term Kalamazoo County Commissioner from District 2 (currently serving as Chairperson). Jen has given leadership to several major county initiatives including the Opioid Settlement Fund Taskforce, the Housing Allocation Ad-hoc Committee, the Public Transit Human Services Committee, the Kalamazoo County Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, and the Board of Directors for Public Media Network.

Jen has been an involved activist for nearly 20 years supporting Democratic candidates and progressive initiatives. She has helped build several grassroots organizations to bring people into an active role in their democracy. She is running to deliver the future all of our children deserve to live in; where systems of racist, classist, and sexist oppression are dismantled, where we create sustainable economic growth, where healthcare is a right afforded to everyone, where young people can afford to buy homes again and where children are safe in schools.

We enthusiastically endorse Jen Strebs for State Representative in HD 41, and we encourage all residents of HD 41 to mobilize and support her campaign. Remember to support Jen leading up to the General Election, and to VOTE for her on November 3rd!

We stand in solidarity with our friend Abbas Alawieh for State Senate, with the residents of Dearborn and Dearborn Heights, and with Muslims across Michigan.

We are firmly for religious freedom: That applies to all religions (and those that choose ‘none’!)

Anti-Islam hate does not make us stronger, more united, or more American.

Standing up for each other’s right to pray how we choose, love who we love, and be who we are; that’s what makes us strongest!

My campaign office was vandalized this morning. Like families across Southeast Michigan today, I have my head down working to realize the vision of America that includes all of us — even those who are needlessly threatened by the beauty and value of our diversity.

I remain undeterred in advancing leadership that strengthens our democracy rather than undermining it.

We are excited to announce our wholehearted endorsement of Abbie Groff-Blaszak for State Senate, District 29 (Abbie Groff-Blaszak).

Abbie Groff-Blaszak has more than 20 years of public service experience, including classroom teaching, school leadership, state government policy leadership, community organizing, nonprofit management, and elected office.

She is running for Michigan State Senate District 29 to practice honest, courageous and effective leadership in Lansing and to deliver progress that improves daily life for working folks and families.

This Coalition has worked with progressive and working class partner orgs and passionate people across Michigan to support and mobilize for this incredible slate of leaders - through the April Convention and the August Primary, to be on our November ballots.

Seeing them on the stage in Detroit, speaking to each others’ strengths and their own intentions to stand up to corporate greed, against hate, against ICE, and federal attacks.. it meant a lot.

We’re celebrating Tuesday’s wins, but we know November is less than 90 days away!!! We are ready to spend the next 88 days getting out the voting, engaging new and disenchanted voters, and supporting these and all our statewide candidates.

The top of the Democratic ticket is strong, and they’re listening to Michiganders. Let’s keep our volume and our energy up and show them what we fight for - Each Other! ❤️💪🏾💪🏿💪🏼💪🏽
