We had a GREAT meeting tonight with so much positive energy.

I was a speaker tonight and discussed how we can foster a strong club climate. I was really impressed with how well our new member Jay evaluated me

We also had a very fitting table topics hosted by our champion speaker, Jayden, on gift giving and which gifts we would like to receive. This was a great theme after Mother's Day.

Vicky Turner, Vice President of Membership attended the District 28 Conference in Detroit yesterday. Jayden Wang also participated in the International Speech Contest and won first place despite a fire alarm going off during his speech! Congratulations to Jayden!

This week’s meeting was all about fine-tuning and preparation for the 3/26 speech tournament!

🎤 Tom Wagner and Jayden Wang both took the stage to practice and refine their speeches, getting ready to give their best performances. The room was filled with focus, support, and helpful feedback.

🧠 Tommy Calderone led a thoughtful Table Topics session centered on memories, sparking meaningful and sometimes nostalgic responses from the group.

This week’s meeting brought plenty of laughs and great energy!

😂 Jayden Wang delivered his Level 3 project “Know Your Sense of Humor,” showcasing how humor can be a powerful tool in communication. His speech kept everyone engaged and smiling throughout.

😄 Naresh led a fun and relaxed Table Topics session, with lighthearted questions that got everyone thinking quickly—and laughing even faster!

Meeting Highlights – February 25th 🌟

Tonight’s meeting was all about preparation and performance as we geared up for the 2/26 contests!

🏆 We had three powerful speeches, all contest-ready:
• Tom Wagner
• Vicky Turner
• Jayden Wang

Each brought passion, polish, and presence as they prepared to compete. The energy in the room was focused and supportive—exactly what Toastmasters is all about.

💼 Mark Boyle led Table Topics with a fun and practical theme: job interview questions. Members had to think on their feet and deliver confident, impromptu responses—great real-world practice!

🎤 Meeting Highlights – February 4th 🌟

Another meeting with a great turnout and fantastic energy—this time with 7 guests joining us! One of them, Tommy, stood out and was voted Best Table Topics after delivering a memorable response.

🗣️ Pedro delivered a reflective speech on “the strength behind being quiet,” sharing insights into his communication style and how silence can be a powerful tool in communication and leadership.

💬 Jayden served as Table Topics Master and, as always, brought interesting and provocative questions, encouraging us to reflect on different kinds of emotions and respond with honesty and creativity.

🎤 Meeting Highlights – January 28th 🌟

We had a great turnout at this week’s Toastmasters meeting, with lots of guests bringing fantastic energy to the room! If you’ve been thinking about visiting, take this as your sign—we’d love to welcome even more guests at our next meeting.

🧭 Ravi delivered a thoughtful speech reflecting on the mentors who have guided and supported him over the years, reminding us how much leadership is shaped by those who invest in us.

❤️ Jayden shared a deeply emotional and powerful speech about his connection with his father, using the act of “turning around” as a moving symbol of how his father was always watching over and supporting him. A truly memorable moment.

🎤 Meeting Highlights – December 3rd 🌟

Tonight’s Toastmasters meeting brought inspiration, personal stories, and plenty of thoughtful choices!

🧘 Vicky Turner delivered a Presentation Mastery Level 3 – Persuasive Speaking project, sharing her vision of a sustainable path to wellness. Her message was motivating and practical—encouraging us all to take small, meaningful steps toward healthier living.

🏅 Pedro Monteiro completed the final speech of Level 1 in the Presentation Mastery pathway, speaking about his passion for sports and how it strengthens his connection with family. A heartfelt way to wrap up the level!

❓ Joe Kastely led a creative and entertaining Table Topics session with the theme “choice between two options.” Members had fun thinking on their feet and making quick decisions—sometimes serious, sometimes hilarious!

Each week brings new voices and new growth. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting!
