We are only one day away from the fundraiser. We are working hard at the foundation to raise funds for immigrant families in Washtenaw. All of our labor is from the heart and for the community. We are directly funding and filling in gaps of need for many families in Washtenaw for food, housing,etc. You can buy tickets at the door tomorrow or purchase via the link in our bio.

Watch Sylvia, founder of Pilar’s Foundation and the heart behind Pilar’s Tamales, prepare her famous horchata - a process that takes hours of toasting rice, amaranth seeds, Mexican cinnamon, sesame seeds, and nutmeg, followed by an overnight soak, grinding, and finishing with brown sugar and vanilla.

This is what you’ll taste at our Fall into Action fundraiser on October 19th. Not just a drink - but hours of care, tradition, and love poured into every batch. This is the same dedication Sylvia brings to supporting immigrant families in our community.

Yesterday, one of our amazing board members, Ben, tabled at the to promote our upcoming fundraiser to support immigrant families in Washtenaw County. He raised around $200! Thank you to everyone! We would love for people to come out to our fundraiser and a buy a ticket. You will get food, live music, and the ability to bet on our silent auction items!! ALL PROCEEDS directly go to immigrant families who are in need of necessities and food.
