KUEF was proud to sponsor the BLISS Band to travel to Nairobi to play at the Jamhuri Day Celebration (Republic Day) on December 12th, 2022. Jamhuri Day is a National Holiday in Kenya celebrating the day that Kenya became a Republic in 1964.

   Both the farm and the green house are running well. Before COVID we had a plenty harvest which the principal gave to the student to carry home to support them during that challenging time.

NEWS FROM BLISS AGRICULTURE PROGRAM:
Both the farm and the green house are running well. Before COVID we had a plenty harvest which the principal gave to the students to carry home to support them during that challenging time.
Currently our Agriculture teacher, Patrick, is having a project with the form two students and they have planted red onions which are now two weeks old. Our farm manager has worked hard with vegetables and maize corns thanks to the water project.

KUEF Board of Director members, Alan Metz and Brian Ward are working closely with BLISS staff to support and improve both the Science and Agriculture Programs at this successful day school offering local youth an affordable alternative to boarding schools.

Moses, our partner and principal at BLISS, shared an article from the "Nation" Kenyan newspaper. It describes how the "Day" secondary schools defy odds to post better grades than "County Boarding" secondary schools. Link included below.

"Our Bliss candidates did well and we are proud of them. Our best student had a B+. This time it’s a girl who topped the class!!

We have 20 students who qualified to join the university, 46 for Diploma courses, and the 87 can under take various certificates courses.
We thank you and all stakeholders who have walked with us in producing these results."
