Medical Educational Service Opportunities (MESO) MESO is dedicated to providing pre-health students at the University of Michigan with unique opportunities to combine volunteerism and education.

We hold a variety of unique workshops that allow you to learn from some of the finest people at the University of Michigan (physician speakers, Career Center application advise, and HVA first aid/CPR training). We also give our members the opportunity to volunteer directly in healthcare settings (Mott and VA Hospital, Sunrise Senior Living care, and hospice assistance). We are also known for our t

rips to Central America where our members are given the opportunity to work in free local clinics directly with physicians and patients. All active members are eligible to go--we do not limit the size of our trips!
