Appreciate + Reciprocate fundraises for LSA Need-Based Scholarships to guarantee all students at the College of Literature, Science and Arts can be Victors for Michigan. The LSA at the University of Michigan offers a liberal arts education that is unmatched by any other. With over 200 programs with professors renowned in their fields and countless research opportunities, students are exposed to a
rich and diverse educational experience. The LSA is where tomorrow’s Leaders and Best are created. All too often students cannot fully immerse themselves in the Michigan experience, due to financial burdens. Instead of participating in all Michigan has to offer, students are forced to worry about rent, the cost of books, and tuition. Appreciate + Reciprocate believes financial burdens should not take away from a student’s Michigan education. We are a community of LSA scholarship students whose lives were forever changed by scholarships and are now dedicated to enriching the cycle of giving at Michigan by fundraising for the LSA Appreciate + Reciprocate Scholarship. The endowment provides scholarships, which benefit LSA students, so all can be a part of the Michigan experience. Appreciate + Reciprocate believes in students helping students! Appreciate + Reciprocate has three main goals. Fundraise for LSA Need-Based Scholarships and the LSA Appreciate + Reciprocate Scholarship. Enrich the culture of philanthropy among LSA students, leading to lifelong support for the LSA. Promote greater cooperation between the University and Ann Arbor community by volunteering for local Ann Arbor nonprofits.
