The MA Center of Michigan joyfully participated in this year's Guru Purnima Backpack drive along many people from across the community. We lovingly and carefully packed 108 backpacks for kids ranging from Pre-K through high school. This was made possible in partnership with the Sai Group, The Lindsay Teaching Legacy, Achieve Charter Academy, and Omnex.

Though Amma will not be touring this summer, Swamiji's visit offers a rare and nourishing opportunity to come together in the presence of Amma's teachings, to step away from the noise of daily life, reconnect within, and gather as a community.

This year, we are very delighted to announce that Swamiji (Swami Amritaswarupananda), head disciple of Amma’s organizations, will be visiting along with Swami Dayamritananda and Brahmachari Ramanandamrita at the the MA Center Michigan, Ann Arbor on Aug 5th. Swamiji, who many may be familiar with, has been with Amma since the 1970s, and has accompanied Amma for all her programs worldwide for more than thirty-seven years. Swamiji is a speaker par excellence as well as a magnificent singer and composer of bhajans (devotional songs).
