ONE at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor

ONE at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor We also work to make meaningful connections with our local, statewide, and national governmental leaders in order to involve them in our efforts.

The University of Michigan is part of a nationwide initiative called the ONE Campus Challenge aimed at mobilizing students around global issues of extreme poverty and preventable disease. We compete against 2,000 other schools to determine which campus can implement the most educational and effective campaigns surrounding a central issue related to global poverty. UofM has been the #1 campus in the nation the past two years and we look forward to another amazing year!

HAPPY SUMMER, ONE!

After two years of writing letters, making phone calls, and tweeting at Congress, The Electrify Africa Act is finally being voted on by the House of Representatives TOMORROW! This is an incredible feat. In the past 8 months alone, ONE campuses across the nation have submitted nearly 6 thousand hand-written letters. Now, you can make your last phone calls and your last tweets in order to ask your representative to VOTE YES for HR 2548! I hope everyone enjoys their summer!

PLEASE Follow the link in the sample tweet to fill out the form in order to tweet to YOUR representative in the House! Let's finally get this bill passed! After all, there is no additional tax expenditure for any US citizen and it will REDUCE our budget deficit!
