DAY 7: We are all human. People struggling with a substance use disorder are deserving of help, compassion, and support.

It is through acts of compassion and support that are centered around the person that we can heal as a community and recommit to ending overdose.

DAY 6: Experiencing an overdose can be a traumatic event for not only a survivor, but their friends and family.

The Recovery Opioid Overdose Team, or ROOT, provides post-overdose support services for both individuals and families. They can help get you connected to resources and other services, depending on what a person requests. Call (734) 544-3050 to access these services.

DAY 3: Start Low, go slow. The quality and consistency of the drug supply varies widely. When using a new supply of drugs, use a small amount and space your use out to better gauge it's effects on you.

If you are using with others, take turns to monitor each other for signs of an overdose.
