Our Habitat House of Faith partners wrapped up their final build days of the 2026 season earlier this month, and we want to express our gratitude to all the volunteers who joined us! Over the course of six months, 76 volunteers contributed 437 hours to complete the O'Brien-Rodriguez family home and capped off the season by moving construction forward on our Dorset Ave new build. What an amazing year!

A special thank you to the congregations who helped build these homes and are actively making the dream of affordable homeownership possible for their neighbors: Ann Arbor Community Reformed Church, Bethlehem United Church of Christ, First Baptist Church of Ypsilanti, First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor, First Presbyterian Church of Saline, and Westminster Presbyterian Church.

As part of its 20th anniversary celebration, Old National Bank Foundation is donating to nonprofit organizations - including us! For over a decade, Old National Bank has supported us through funding, board service, volunteering and much more. Old National Bank's commitment to Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley has helped strengthen neighborhoods and create lasting housing stability for families and individuals throughout our community. Because of Old National Bank's support, more homeowners are remaining safely in their homes, more families are building stability and wealth through homeownership, and more neighborhoods are thriving.

The rain held off just long enough for a beautiful Saturday spent helping one of our neighbors with exterior home improvements! 🌦️🏡

A huge thank you to HDR for its longtime partnership with Habitat. Through employee fundraising and hands-on volunteerism, their team helped refresh homeowner April's front porch, plant flowers, and spread mulch! There's nothing quite like seeing the immediate impact of your time, energy, and generosity on days like these. Thank you HDR for helping Habitat secure futures and strengthen the community.

Please be aware of Facebook posts and advertisements that falsely use the Habitat for Humanity name and logo to offer free roofing or repair services. These ads direct people to non-Habitat websites to collect personal info–which puts you at risk for identity theft.

Stay safe by following these tips:
✅ Only apply through official Habitat websites or local Habitat offices
✅ Verify phone numbers and email addresses before sharing information
✅ Never send money, gift cards, or banking information upfront
✅ Don’t share sensitive information through social media or suspicious forms
✅ When in doubt, contact your local Habitat affiliate directly

Great things are happening at Rolling Court, thanks to the incredible dedication of our Good News Group volunteers and supporters! Over the past few months, Good News has taken the home from studs to sided, painted, trimmed and enclosed. We are grateful to our faith partners from Chelsea First UMC , First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor - UUAA, First United Methodist Church Ann Arbor, Manchester United Methodist Church, West Side United Methodist Church - Ann Arbor, Bethel AME - Ann Arbor, MI, Chelsea Nazarene, First Baptist Church of Ann Arbor, St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church of Ann Arbor, the Bridge United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church - Brighton/Whitmore Lake, and First United Methodist Church of Saline who continue to show up and make a difference!
