That's a wrap on another incredible season with the Good News Group! 🎉🏡

Every year since 1996, 14+ area congregations have come together to build with us, and this season they went above and beyond. Through their donations and volunteer power this year, the Good News Group completed TWO of their supported homes in Ypsilanti, and they didn't stop there. Over 28 volunteer days, they also:

🔨 Completed our Gault home and celebrated the home dedication with the family!
🔨 Completed their 2026 supported home on Outer Lane
🔨 Helped move two more of our current new builds forward

By the numbers:
👥 247+ volunteers
⏱️ 1,706+ hours donated
📅 28 build days

Three decades of faith in action, and the impact keeps growing. Thank you to every congregation, every volunteer and every donor who made this season possible.💙Learn more about the Good News Group: https://www.h4h.org/goodnewsgroup

We're mid-season on the 23rd home built with TOYOTA Motor North America Research & Development, a milestone that speaks to years of partnership and commitment to affordable homeownership in our community. Over the last two months, Toyota volunteers have painted and installed interior doors and trim, completed much-needed foundation work, and finished window prep at our Dorset Avenue build, bringing the same precision and problem-solving they're known for at work to a home that will soon belong to a local family or individual.

Thank you, Toyota, for showing up season after season to build homes and secure futures!

It's 🌍 Building Stronger Neighborhoods, Together
Volunteers, professional tradespeople, and neighbors — side by side, making repairs that let people age safely in the homes they love. Our work at Habitat reminds our neighbors they're not alone. Your support makes it possible! Home by home, we're building a stronger Washtenaw County together.

Today, we remember and honor the late President Jimmy Carter on what would have been his 102nd birthday.

A devoted humanitarian and longtime Habitat for Humanity volunteer, President Carter believed that everyone deserves a decent place to call home. Through the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project and decades of service, he helped bring people together to build homes, secure futures, and strengthen the community.

Today, we remember a life dedicated to building a better world. 💙

Donate today to help build homes and secure futures for hundreds in our community. Visit www.h4h.org/donate-now for ways to give. 🏠

The 7th Annual Habitat FORE Humanity Golf Classic was one for the books! With 70-degree sunshine, a beautiful course, great raffle and auction prizes, and an incredible community of golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters, we couldn't have asked for a better day.

Together, we surpassed our fundraising goal and directed funds towards Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley's programs and our work to build homes, secure futures, and strengthen communities across Washtenaw County.

A huge thank you to our Premier Sponsors: Sigma Financial Corporation (Axtella), University Bank, and Retirement Income Solutions, Inc. for their generous investment in Habitat's mission and this year's Golf Classic.

We're also incredibly grateful to the many businesses and individuals who sponsored and contributed raffle and auction items. These donations help drive our fundraising efforts while adding so much fun and excitement to the day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a resounding success! We're so grateful for this community and for the many ways you support Habitat. 🏠💚

A Full-Circle Moment
Amani closed on her Habitat home last November. This June, she was back on a build site — this time as a volunteer at Rock the Block, helping a neighbor make repairs to their home. That's what a Habitat home does: it doesn't just change one family's future, it strengthens the whole neighborhood. Your gift today helps write the next full-circle story.
Give at h4h.org/donate.
