Thanks everyone for coming out to play tunes at the Null. They have asked us if we want to come back in 2 weeks. Sounds like they are going to be on TV, and will be staying open a little later than usual to celebrate. Some of us were talking about starting with a jam,say 6-8, and then trying to get a few square dances going if we can pull together enough people for it. Keep that date in mind, let us know what you think, and tell your friends that like to dance!

Wednesday, May 6th, we are staying open late for a special screening of the Brew Dogs episode featuring Founders Brewing Co. and the Great Beer State (and maybe a little action from Jolly Pumpkin Brewery as well!). Wear your pjs! Bring your friends!

Schedule for the upcoming season:
October 6 (2013) - Root Cellar String Band
November 3 - Golden Griffon Stringtet
December 1 - Stout Hearted String Band
January 5 (2014) - Root Cellar String Band
February 2 - Stout Hearted String Band
March 2 - Bowhunter

October-February dances will be held at Concourse Hall. The March 2 dance will probably be at the Pittsfield Union Grange.

The atmosphere was warm and enticing on a cold night recently at the Amvets Post in Schnitzelburg, as an all-age crowd of square dancers took to the wood floor and do-si-doed to swinging old-time music.

If you are coming to the square dance tomorrow, please bring a pair of clean, gentle shoes to change into. The floor should be ready for dancing, but the new finish may not yet be fully cured.
