Our final Adult Synchro Tryout sessions are this weekend, May 30 and 31!

Over the past few months, we have received a high level of interest in starting adult synchronized skating teams from beginner adult skaters in our Adult Learn to Skate program through advanced skaters looking to experience synchro and be part of a competitive team.

We welcome adult skaters of all levels who are interested in synchro to attend tryouts. Tryouts are FREE and do not require any commitment to a team. After tryouts, you will receive your team placement along with more detailed information before making any commitment decision.

We’re offering two tryout opportunities to give everyone flexibility in choosing a session that best fits their schedule:

⭐️ Saturday, May 30: 3:45–4:35 PM

⭐️ Sunday, May 31: 4:15–5:05 PM

To try out, please complete the Adult Tryout Registration Form and then plan to attend one of the sessions above.

If you attended one of the previous Adult tryout sessions in March or early May, or if you completed a private make-up tryout, you do not need to try out again. Once we complete our final tryout sessions, we will contact all skaters who participated in tryouts directly with team placements, additional details, and next steps.

The Hockettes are still accepting new skaters for the 2026–27 season! We currently have a few positions available on the following levels:

⛸ Preliminary

Following our recent Adult Synchro Clinics, we’ve received an overwhelming amount of interest in Hockettes adult level teams for the 2026–27 season.

Our goal is to field three adult teams, including one National Championship–qualifying team at the Masters or Adult level.

Adults 18+ interested in Adult, Masters, Open Adult, Open Masters, or Aspire Adult are invited to attend tryouts.

• Saturday, May 30: 3:45–4:35 PM

The new 9-skater synchronized skating category (Synchro 9) will be used when synchronized skating debuts at the 2028 Winter Youth Olympic Games, marking the first time synchro appears in an Olympic-related program. ⛸️

Join us for an informational meeting this Friday to learn more about what Synchro 9 could look like.
