National Hazing Prevention Week

Sisterhood should never come at the expense of safety, dignity, or well-being. 💛🤎

At Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc., we believe sisterhood is built through respect, growth, and genuine connection. Hazing has no place in our sisterhood.

Let’s continue to create spaces where women can grow, lead, and thrive without fear or harm.

From our roots to the paths we continue to create, Hispanic Heritage Month is a time to celebrate the cultures, stories, traditions, and contributions that shape our communities. 🤎💛

At Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc., we honor the women who came before us, the women taking action today, and the women who will continue to lead tomorrow.

Founded in 1994 at the University of Michigan, DTL was established as a community and academic sorority created to empower Latinas and women of color through academic excellence, service, leadership, and sisterhood.

This month, we celebrate the richness of our heritage and the many ways our communities continue to grow, lead, serve, and thrive.

Here’s to our stories, our cultures, our communities, and the phenomenal women who carry them forward. 🤎💛

September is National Su***de Prevention Month, a time to remind one another that support, connection, and compassion can make a difference.

At Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc., we believe in creating communities where women feel empowered to speak openly, reach out for support, and remind one another that they do not have to navigate difficult moments alone.

Su***de prevention is not only a conversation for September. It is a commitment to checking in, listening without judgment, recognizing when someone may be struggling, and connecting our loved ones with the support they need.

💛 If you are struggling, reaching out is a sign of strength.
🤎 If someone you love is struggling, listen, check in, and stay connected.
💛 If you are concerned about someone, help connect them with professional support.

This month and always, let’s choose connection, compassion, and action.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

In Unity, we can help create communities where asking for help is met with compassion. 🤎💛

25 years later, we remember the lives lost on 9/11 and the heroes who gave everything to serve others. Their courage reminds us why service and community matter. Today, Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc. honors their memory by continuing to show up for one another. 🕯️

Labor Day is more than a celebration of jobs with titles, uniforms, or badges. It is a day to recognize every form of labor, including the work that often goes unseen.

We honor the farmworker and the pharmacist. The custodian, caregiver, and cook. The mother whose second shift begins when she gets home. The student working two jobs to stay enrolled. The person navigating a career transition while continuing to work toward something greater.

Today, we recognize the hands that build, the minds that create, the hearts that care, and the determination that keeps our communities moving forward.

At Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc., we celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of working people in our communities. Your labor matters. Your work matters. You matter.

Happy Labor Day. 🤎💛
