We had a FUN time!

Stopped by Alpha House’s 31st Annual Gimmie Shelter. Everyone deserves a safe, permanent place to call home, and I will continue working to expand families’ access to the support and resources they need.

Yesterday, we celebrated our 31st Annual Gimme Shelter Fundraiser, and our hearts are absolutely overflowing with gratitude! Thanks to the incredible generosity and support of our community, not only did we meet our Challenge Match goal... we surpassed it!

We are so thankful to everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make this event such a tremendous success. It was truly wonderful to see so many of our amazing community partners, supporters, and friends come together at the Ypsilanti Freighthouse for such a meaningful cause. The energy, kindness, and generosity in the room were a beautiful reminder of what makes our community so special.

Every contribution, every helping hand, and every show of support makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. Your continued commitment to our mission inspires us, and we couldn’t do this important work without you! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We are so grateful to be part of such a compassionate and dedicated community, and we look forward to another wonderful year of working together, supporting one another, and making a lasting impact!
