On this Wednesday of , we highlight the 5 domains of Adolescent Well-being. The definition of Adolescent Well-being applies globally and is relevant for all adolescents. To date, too many of the world's 1.2 billion adolescents are at risk of failing to reach their full potential. Annually over one million adolescents die from preventable causes, tens of millions suffer injuries and hundreds of millions develop harmful behaviours which have both short- and long-term impacts.
