It is with heavy hearts that we share the unfortunate news of the passing of our Brother, Kevin “Ataraxia” Galvan.

Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Kevin could feel his caring and funny nature. He was an important person in many of our lives and will be dearly missed. Kevin did his part by offering so much to our fraternity and now it’s our turn to take care of his family.

The SLB Omega Fund will be collecting donations to cover funeral expenses. If able, please consider donating. Any and all contributions will help his family through these challenging times.

Ship F.U.E.G.O. was born April 2nd, 2016 at 3:25:48 AM. Pictured we have Captain ☸️ Hector “Capaz” Arvizu #135, Ben “Audaz” Martinez #136, and Anchor ⚓️ Mehdi “Bamiyan” Mohammad Ali #137. These three Lambda Beta men are great leaders within our chapter and community. They show what it means to carry out the principles learned while pledging. Special shoutout to Brother Bamiyan who will be graduating this year. We’re grateful for all the dedication and support 💪🏽 is lucky to have you. #ΣΛΒ

Today we recognize two of our oldest brothers at Zeta Chapter. Ship R.E.T.O. was born November 23rd, 2014 at 1:22:02 AM. The Gentlemen of the most honorable Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Incorporated and The Phenomenal Women of Delta Tau Lambda Sorority Incorporated present our 5th Annual Right to Success program this upcoming Martin Luther King Day! Through the years, our program has successfully exposed inner city high school students from the Grand Rapids area to the prospect of higher education and has garnished a meaningful mentorship network, where none existed before. We have planned a full day of university related activities, coordinated transportation, waived application fees, and set up networking opportunities for our prospective wolverines! We are second to none. His Dream was for me.
