Hello friends. As you likely know, the University of Michigan has encouraged meetings of >100 people to be cancelled during this time of the COVID-19 outbreak. We are still planning to hold the 40 Days of Prayer Kickoff event from 8-9:30pm at New Life Church, with modifications to be announced later today.

Regardless of if this event happens tonight, there is something beautiful about continuing to gather in small groups to pray the Lord's sovereignty and peace over our lives and campus. Let us not let Satan win his battle of fear and chaos.

The final word and decision will come tonight around 6pm as to if the kickoff event will continue to happen, including logistics. Stay posted and remain rooted in the Lord.

Welcome back from Spring Break, umich students! This Thursday, March 12th, from 8-9:30pm is the kickoff event for the 40 Days of Prayer. It's going to be a night of worship and prayer, interceding for our campus and asking for God to bring renewal and revival here even now. Join us at 1541 Washtenaw (New Life Church) to pray with humble expectation this Thursday!

We are 2.5 weeks away from the Kickoff Service that begins 40 days of 24/7 NONSTOP prayer on campus at the University of Michigan! Join us on March 12th from 8-9:30pm at New Life Church (1541 Washtenaw) for a powerful night of envisioning, worshiping in song, petitioning God in prayer, and fellowship.

Today wraps up this year's 40 Days of Prayer. What an amazing 6 weeks it's been! We've heard testimonies of powerful times of connection with the Lord and joy in gathering as a community that took place in this special space.

We see God's heart for His people and for prayer in 2 Chronicles 7:
“...if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there."

The Lord hears our prayers and sees our hearts. He is responding, and we and our campus will forever be changed. Take heart and continue to seek Him :)

🎉🎉Announcing this year's 40 Days of Prayer event, beginning March 14th!!🤩🥳

PrayUM is a group of students from all across the University of Michigan campus who desire to see God change our campus through prayer. Each year since 2006, PrayUM devotes 40 days to NONSTOP 24/7 prayer. During the 40 days, there will be a prayer room open 24/7 hosted at New Life Church for any and all to come and spend individual time in prayer or to meet with others to pray corporately. There will be a special service of worship, prayer, and vision on Thursday, March 14th to kick off the 40 days. The kickoff service will start at 7:30 PM at University Lutheran Chapel. We're excited for you to join us!!

Tomorrow is the last day of this year's 40 days! It was a delight to seek the Lord with you all...We're believing greater things are yet to come :)
Since we're not having a closing event for the 40 Days of Prayer this year, if you're looking for a place to celebrate or commemorate the season, H20 Church has invited anyone interested to come to their Deeper service this Friday, March 30th at 8 PM at Ann Arbor Assembly of God.
