This holiday season, we’re doing things with love — and a little Rex-style flair.
In 2025, we made our first big push to promote our nonprofit and support those who’ve supported us. We even partnered with ICAN,
an incredible organization in Indiana that trains service dogs for veterans and first responders. In 2026, we hope to raise even more to help them continue this life-changing work.
As we celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year, may we all find the courage to embrace the love, kindness, and renewal that dogs show us so freely.

✨ This week of gratitude—and truly every day—we at Love Me Like a Dog Inc. want to thank each and every one of you who continue to support our mission of helping veterans, first responders, and those in need of a service dog.
We may be a small nonprofit, but we are deeply blessed by the achievements of this year. After overcoming a setback due to cancer, 2025 has been our first big push forward—and what a year it has been.
One highlight was beginning our collaboration with the incredible team at ICAN , who share our vision and have been doing remarkable work providing service dogs. Earlier this month, we were honored to be invited to the Salute to Service 5K in Fort Wayne, Indiana, held in honor of Veterans Month.
More than 100 participants came together at beautiful Kreager Park to walk, run, meet service dogs in training, and show their support. It was a heart‑warming success, and we were welcomed with open arms by so many generous people—our heroes and volunteers—including Cory, Jullian (ICAN President), Samantha Wodecki (Director of Philanthropy), Moe Kiley (Breeding & Medical Manager), Samantha Thompson (Communications Manager), and many others.
We are excited to continue working together to achieve our shared goals.

Veterans Day
Today, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering spirit of our veterans.
At Love Me Like a Dog, we walk beside those who’ve served—through advocacy, design, and the healing power of canine companionship.
To every hero who’s worn the uniform, and to every dog who’s helped carry the weight:
