Hello, Friends of MISSION,

Thank you so much for all of your support! With your help (as well as the help of Forward Design Build - the generous construction agency that is already working on renovations!), we have already raised $4,831 of the necessary $10,000 needed for Forward Design to complete the Jimmy Hill House (a.k.a. Purple House)'s immediate renovation goals. Forward Design has already replaced Jimmy Hill House's roof (see the attached pictures for the progress!). They are still hoping to be able to redo two bathrooms and a lot of electrical upgrades - renovations that will make life much more comfortable for those we serve, especially in the wintertime.

That said, we still have a ways to go, and the end of our fundraiser is drawing near! Please consider donating to our / Forward Design's GoFundMe before July 15th, its final day. You can access the GoFundMe here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/support-the-jimmy-hill-purple-house-remodel . Additionally, we would love it if you could share with anyone who you think would be interested in supporting the cause.

Thank you once more for your support! We are so grateful for your generosity and your readiness to improve the quality of life for the homeless community.

To our friends in the MISSION community:

We would like to invite you to a fundraiser at the Jimmy Hill House (Purple House) on Thursday, June 27 2024 from 4-7 PM. The fundraiser is being held at Purple House (3501 Stone School Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48108) by our friends at FORWARD DESIGN BUILD, who are planning to help us remodel our bathrooms at the Purple House as they are in desperate need of repair. They are also replacing our aging roof and upgrading our outdated electrical service so that we can provide showers and laundry services to our overnight guests.

We would love it if you would stop by with your friends! WASHTENAW DAIRY will be providing summer treats and MISSION volunteers will be standing by to provide tours of the house which is heavily used by overnight guests.
